USEKH:U SICK?

Can you please cover your face when you cough, didn’t you learn that in grade school?

Imagine getting on a crowded bus, people are surrounding you, and you barely have any room to stand. Now, imagine you have to sneeze, imagine that anxiety rising inside you. Add to that a broad collar that lights up whenever it detects a sneeze or cough. The collar intends to add beauty to an undesirable act, with prismatic lights filling the space when triggered. A different, unintended, but equally as interesting consequence is the raising of awareness and perception of the wearer to their surroundings as well as make them more susceptible to being deemed "sick" by others. The garment almost acts analogously to a dunce cap; when you sneeze, you are outed by this accessory, but because it is also listening to everyone else it can be triggered by others sneezes and coughs and making you aware of their “health.”
